Tequila cocktails
Tequila! It makes me happy! Tequila, it makes me feel fiiiinnnneeeee! Looking for some tequila cocktails to give your day a little Mexican zest? You’re in the right place. Let’s get mixing!
Famous tequila cocktails
Our list of quick and easy tequila drinks has both famous and lesser-known cocktails, but let me tell you this: all of them are delicious.
Some of the better-known ones include:
- The Margarita, a delicious tequila drink that adds lime juice and triple sec to the tequila.
- The Long Island Iced Tea, a tasty but incredibly boozy cocktail that combines ALL THE ALCOHOL.
- The Tequila Sunrise, a refreshing summer cocktail that mixes tequila and orange juice, then adds grenadine to create the sunrise effect. It’s also in our cocktails with orange juice.
What tequila should I use?
Whatever tequila you have, or your favourite, will do the trick. Tequila in cocktails doesn’t have to be perfectly smooth and crisp, unlike when you’re sipping it or doing shots. In cocktails it’s the base, and it’s a great one.
If you’re in the market for a bottle, this is the one we recommend for cocktails.
